Creating a Pirate Themed Birthday Party Space
The Personalised Pirate Skull and Bones Birthday Party Decorations at Katie J Design & Events Feature a Pirate Skull and Bandana Print Clipart on a Red and White Striped Background. You can take some Inspiration from our Decorations as you’re planning your Party Space.
Using the Colours Red, White, and Black throughout your Party will help create an area that your birthday boy or girl and guests will all easily recognize as Pirate Themed.
I like to use my Theme Colours for the Tablecloths, Balloons, and other elements like plates, cups, and napkins. Everything will tie together easily with coordinating colours.
For a Pirate Themed Birthday Party, you might also consider Gold accents. After all, Pirates are always seeking Treasure!
Here is a great example from a party one of our Customers hosted. The Gold Balloons and white tablecloth with Pirate Details is Perfect for the Theme!
In this view, you can also see a Beautiful and Impactful Balloon Display!
One of our Favourite ways to incorporate balloons is with a Personalised Party Banner and Balloon Arch. You can learn more about this technique on our Guide to Decorating and Hanging Party Banners.
And just like our Customer, you don’t have to be afraid about hosting a Party Outdoors! All of our party decorations and supplies are durable and water resistant, so they can withstand spills and weather if you want to take your Pirate Adventures to the Great Outdoors.
Treats and Favours for a Pirate Themed Birthday Party
Whenever I host a party, I love to Create Themed Treats and Favours for the guests to enjoy. Nothing makes this easier than using our Personalised Decorations and Supplies!
Within each theme, including our Personalised Pirate Skull and Bones Birthday Party Decorations, you’ll find stickers and labels for Water Bottles, Juice Bottles, Bubble Wands, Lollipops, Mini Chocolates, Tic Tacs, and more! In fact, you can use these stickers and labels however you want to.
Here are Customer examples of our stickers and labels for Mini Chocolates, Tic Tacs, and Lollipops.
But I also Love seeing our Stickers and Labels used in Unique and Creative Ways. These Customers also used them for Small, Personalised Treat Bottles filled with “Pirate Loot” and Popcorn Bags!
For more Treat and Favour Inspiration, you’ll also Love this Customer Photograph of “Bottled Poison.” It’s so Amazing how they used our Labels on Soda Bottles and Created this Clever, Pirate-Themed Sign!
This Party Treat has inspired me! It would be so Fun to let Guests Mix their Own “Pirate Poison”! Adapt my DIY Mimosa Bar for something a little more kid-friendly and everyone will have an Adventure!
There are so many other ways to Keep your Guests Fed and Happy. Any naturally Red foods, like Grapes, Tomatoes, or Sausages will tie into your Pirate Theme and fill the adventurous guest bellies.
You can also Make your Own Treats. This doesn’t have to be complicated at all! I have several Easy DIY Birthday Treats that use Coloured Icing or other Foods so they can always be adapted to your party theme. You can find the “Recipes,” along with some tricks for using our Personalised Stickers and Labels, with these guides about Party Food.
Pirate Themed Birthday Party Games and Adventures
Keep your Guests entertained with some Games that any Pirate would Love! Here are some ideas.
Send them on a Scavenger Hunt to find Buried Treasure outside or hidden in the party space. You can have a fun prize for the Winner or let everyone find a Treat.
Another Idea is to adapt the Classic Party Game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” and have the guests “Pin the Eye Patch on the Pirate.” All you need is a Large Poster of a Pirate and an Eye Patch for each guests. I recommend printing Eye Patch images and laminating them!
Finally, let the guests enjoy a Pirate Photo Opportunity. Either pose everyone in front of your Amazing Party Banner, or Adapt my Cardboard Cutout Guide to be a Pirate!
I hope everyone enjoys your Pirate Themed Birthday Party Adventure!
